Jae Ford is an interdisciplinary artist who integrates drawing, painting, and sculpture into forms that illuminate a multidimensional interior and social space. By staging encounters between gesture and surface, their work reflects on the dynamics of taste and desire through expressive choreographies of line. They received an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA from Pratt Institute. Ford has exhibited nationally and internationally at venues such as Secrist Beach and Andrew Rafacz (Chicago, IL), Camayuhs (Atlanta, GA), 601 Artspace (New York, NY), Generator Space (Omaha, NE), Galerie Juri Kultur Zentrum (Winterthur, CH), among others.
